Buying solid inks is easy because there are so many available. Just make sure you buy the right ones for your printer. You can find printer ink in most major stores such as PC World and Staples as well as various online stores.

Finding ink that is compatible with your printer is easy. You just need to know what you're looking for. There are many things to consider when you are buying ink because most printers are compatible with more than one variety of printer ink.

If you follow this guide then you'll be able to find what inks are suitable for your printer and where to buy them. It can get very confusing when you're shopping for printer ink because there are so many to choose from and so many different printers available.

Some of the major inkjet printer brands include Lexmark, Canon, Epson and HP. Laser printers that use solid inks include Xerox, Epson and Brother. Make sure you know which brand of printer you have before you begin.

Once you have all the information you need then you will easily be able to find the right sort of solid inks for your printer. Usually, solid inks come in at least two separate forms. There will be one cartridge for the black ink and one for the three primary colours.

Depending on the brand of printer you have you may have to buy one black ink block and three separate ones for the three primary colours. You don't always have to buy brand specific printer ink. For example, Tesco supply printer ink at a reduced price which will be fine for your printer at home.

It's really easy to install ink and newer printers make it simple. It doesn't matter where you buy your printer ink from either. Older printers are a lot more mechanical inside so you may find it harder to install in these compared with newer printers.

Most of the time, installing ink isn't a problem so you shouldn't find it too difficult no matter what kind of printer you have. Many of the latest printers have software with them that you install on your PC and it'll then tell you how and when to install new ink.

With newer printers it is usually a case of selecting the option to install new ink and you will then need to lift the top of the printer and place the cartridges in manually. Installing solid inks is easy but that doesn't mean you shouldn't read the manual for your printer because if you do make a mistake you might break your printer.

There are places that sell ink cartridge refilling kits but they are nothing compared to new ink cartridges because they leak and can cause a real mess. They are sold in Tesco. There is a difference between spending a lot on printer ink and being ripped off so make sure that the quality of your ink is reflected in the price you pay.

If you spend over 50 GBP on solid inks then you should consider whether you can find a way to use your printer more to get the most for your money. It should be easy for you to find printer ink that is easy to use and easy to install, no matter what kind of printer you have.

Most online stores that sell computers will sell printer ink as well as stores such as PC World, Staples and Tesco. You shouldn't have a problem finding printer ink because it's widely available. Just make sure that you do your research and find out how much you should be spending before you buy ink for your printer.
