Everyone needs a great laser printer in today's world - no matter if it's for home, school, or work. And, just like with any printer, the Dell S2500 printer using Dell S2500 Printer Toner Cartridge will have some installation and troubleshooting areas that you might face. But, these are never very hard to deal with, and with the right information you can easily clear up these areas and get back to work. Here is your free guide to some of the common areas that you will deal with on a Dell s2500 printer:

Optional Drawer Installation: There are two other drawers that you can purchase and install for your Dell S2500 printer. One is an extra 250-page drawer and the other is a larger 500-page drawer. To install these, you need to do a few things first. Make sure that you have disconnected the printer from the network and other computers, then turn off the power, once the power is off you want to unplug it from the source. Now, you simply follow the instructions for the drawer and you are ready to go.

Memory Card Installation: There are times when you might need a bit of extra memory for your S2500 printer. You can find these cards at most computer and printer retailers, just make sure that you pick up a printer card or flash card and they need to have 100-pin connectors. Now, when you are ready to install the card, make sure that you touch a metal piece before you touch the card as static electricity can wipe the card out. Now, open the top of the printer by the latches on the sides, then firmly push the memory card into the slot. You'll feel a distinct "snap" and you're done.

Raise the Paper Rest: This is a very easy thing to do, simply slide the paper rest forward out of the S2500 printer to raise it to the desired height. This will help to keep your printed documents from laying flat or from falling off of the printer when they are done.

Operator Panel Overlay: This is basically the guide around the buttons on the front of the printer. This is in English, and those that prefer it in another language can easily change this to fit their needs. There are several different overlays that you can change out really easily. Simply choose the right overlay you need, peel the backing off, and place it in line with the holes for the buttons on the panel. Press into place and you are done.

Side Cover Removal: If your Dell S2500 printer jams, or when you need to change out the S2500 Toner Cartridge, you want to remove this. To do so, simply open the top front panel, open the multipurpose panel, and slide the side cover off the back. You will then have access to the cartridges, paper jams, or even memory cards.

Removing the Shield: On the side cover of the printer, you will find the shield. You open up the side cover, and unscrew the six screws that are underneath. Do not remove these, simply unscrew them until the shield slides easily. Then, slide it to the left until you feel it stop. You can then just pull it straight out.

And, those are the normal installation and areas that you might have to fix or deal with on your Dell S2500 printer. As you can see, these are extremely easy, which makes this printer one of the best smaller laser printers out there for your budget and computer knowledge.
